This option is available only when you are using one of the dial-up connection type settings and you have the Answer call-handling option available to you. It allows you to tell ICM to confirm disconnection from the Internet when you choose to answer a call. If not checked, ICM will disconnect you immediately, and without prompting, from the Internet when you choose to answer an incoming call.
To change your Disconnect on Answer setting:
To access this option click the Setup button on the ICM Main Window.
The ICM Setup window opens with the General submenu visible:
The above screenshot depicts someone who does not want to be advised when they are disconnected from the Internet when an incoming call is "answered".
Click the checkbox next to Confirm disconnect on answer to enable this feature.
From now on whenever you select Answer from your Incoming Call Pop-up you will receive a service window asking you to confirm this request.
