Getting Started

Internet Call Manager (ICM) notifies you of phone calls you receive while you are on the Internet and lets you decide how you want to handle the call.

When you are on the Internet with ICM running and you receive a phone call, an Incoming Call Pop-up appears on your screen telling you who is calling and letting you choose how you want to handle the call:

When you see this Incoming Call Pop-up, you can use the buttons on it to choose how you want to handle the call. You can select either:

Answer

Disconnects you from the Internet, redirects the call back to your phone line so it will ring, and then allows you to answer the call.

Transfer

Transfers the call to another number, which you can configure in your ICM software.

Play Msg

Plays the caller your choice of messages. The defaults which come with ICM are:

I'll Call You back - acknowledges the caller with a message telling them that you will call them back later.

Call Me Back - acknowledges the caller with a message asking them to call you back in a few minutes.

PLUS 4 additional messages you can customize yourself.

Voice Mail

Sends the caller to Call Answer, if you subscribe to this service.

Ignore

Dismisses the pop-up. The caller will hear ringing, as if you were not home.

Note:  The Answer and Transfer call-handling options are available with ICM Plus only.
