Handling Incoming Calls

When a call is received by ICM, a window (referred to as the Incoming Call Pop-up) displays the caller's name and phone number:

Note:  Depending on your ICM software configurations, a notification may be played using your PC's sound card. For details, refer to Sound On.

The buttons on the Incoming Call Pop-up represent the options you have in handling incoming calls. You have the following call handling options:

using the Answer button;

using the Transfer button;

using the Play Msg button;

using the Voice Mail button; and

using the Ignore button.

If you have defined AutoActions for particular callers, pop-ups will not be displayed with incoming calls for those numbers.  For details, refer to AutoActions.

In addition, if you have the All Callers AutoAction feature enabled, all incoming calls will be handled automatically according to your All Callers AutoAction set-up.  For details, refer to Using the All Callers AutoAction.
